Consortium for Research in Eating Disorders
Promoting community, research and education in eating disorders and related issues through advocacy and global collaboration.
Professor Gemma Sharp is the Founding Director of the registered charity, Consortium for Research in Eating Disorders (CoRe-ED).
CoRe-ED is a first-of-its-kind international initiative that brings together all people involved in eating disorders research — researchers, clinicians, people with lived experience, advocates, not-for-profit and industry representatives — globally.
CoRe-ED aims to promote innovations in eating disorders research by empowering all voices and ultimately creating new therapies for all people experiencing eating disorders.
CoRe-ED was officially launched in Australia in September 2024 and the global community has grown rapidly since that time with free registration for anyone interested in joining the community.
